I reached national selection level in three sports, and more than twenty years of elite sport taught me that persistence is always a more reliable companion than luck.
Sport taught me to take responsibility for my goals and to believe that real change starts from within. Rather than chasing quick wins, I have always believed in consistent work and in setting an authentic example every day.
When my children arrived, I understood even more clearly that a healthy lifestyle is not about restrictions. The question is not whether we can eat a square of chocolate, but whether we know the taste of fresh food and whether our children have seen the joy of moving together on their parents' faces. I believe balance is born not through self-denial, but through conscious, enjoyable choices.

What is Súlykontroll and why I created it
We love eating. It is one of the most natural and greatest pleasures we have, and we all want what we choose to taste good.
It is equally important that we stay healthy and feel good — because that is what gives us our inner balance. Most people get stuck where appetite meets desired weight. The same question always comes up: can the joy of eating survive when we pay attention to our health?
Over recent years I developed two diet plans to make healthy eating easy to follow for everyone. The Súlykontroll Programme is for those who want to lose weight or maintain it long-term, using a clear and conscious system. The 21-Day Diet gives momentum to those who want a fast and visible start.
Both programmes share the same goal: to help where most people get stuck. There is no need to guess what to eat when, and no need to walk the road alone. These programmes provide a handhold even when time or motivation runs low, and help make healthy eating a natural part of everyday life.
